Thank you for choosing DC Maids. We want you to have a rewarding experience while exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our cleaning services. By booking a service with DC Maids, you agree to these terms along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Standard Service Policy

At DC Maids, we believe in earning your trust through exceptional service. That's why we've implemented a pay-after-service model for all standard cleaning services. Your payment is only collected after the service is completed and you've confirmed your satisfaction with our work.

We understand that plans can change. You may reschedule or cancel your service up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. However, to maintain our high service standards and respect our cleaning professionals' time, late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) will incur a 50% charge of the service fee. For appointments where there is no show and no notice, the full service amount will be charged.

Our Satisfaction Guarantee

We believe you will be thrilled with the cleaning service you receive from DC Maids. In the unlikely event that our service doesn't meet your expectations, we provide a comprehensive satisfaction guarantee. Simply notify us within 24 hours of service completion, and we'll return to re-clean any areas of concern at no additional cost.

If you're still not satisfied after our re-cleaning service, we'll provide a full refund of your payment. We stand behind our work and are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every cleaning service we provide.

Refund Process and Timeline

To initiate a refund, contact our customer service team within 24 hours of service completion. You'll need to provide your booking reference number and explain your concerns. Our team will review your request within one business day and work with you to resolve any issues.

Once approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method. Please note that processing times vary: credit card refunds typically complete in 3-5 business days, while other payment methods may take 5-10 business days. For cash payments over $750, we'll mail a refund check within 10 business days.

Service Limitations and Exceptions

While we strive to accommodate all service requests, certain situations fall outside our refund policy. These include late cancellations, no-show appointments, and claims made after our 24-hour satisfaction guarantee period. Additionally, we cannot provide refunds when service completion is prevented by circumstances outside our control, such as locked doors or unsafe working conditions.
